I've noticed that when The GF is introduced to someone who's read the blog, they usually ask her, "do you know Ted calls you The GF on his blog?" She does know. I've talked with her about this before and she seems okay being referred to by two letters. In any case, it doesn't matter because she won't be called "The GF" on this blog anymore.

It's been a busy April for me! Aprils aren't usually busy months for me. It's my birth month after all, and I celebrate it by donning my sloth suit and sleeping everywhere. Not this year though! This year, instead of hibernating the whole month, I chose instead to get engaged to The Fiancée.

The wedding's in August, folks! It's a small ceremony* so apologies in advance if you don't get invited. (You wouldn't want to go to Kluang anyway.)
4.
I finally got my hands on the complete DVD set of Blackadder which includes all four seasons and Blackadder...Back and Forth! Hurray!
5.
All in all, April has been a good month! May is set to look good too! Spider-man 3! Murakami's After Dark! Yay!
*must keep up starving writer image!

Well, goddamn. Congratulations, dude!
ReplyDeletebiggest congrats to you both, Ted!!
ReplyDelete(but what will you call the GF then? the OH? (other half))
No wonder so quiet.
ReplyDelete"In any case, it doesn't matter because she won't be called "The GF" on this blog anymore."
That did get suspense. Nice twist.
Congratulations and yeayY for blackadder.
Congratulations! No wonder got no updates for yonks :P Exciting times, haha... so will she now be "The W" (The Wife)?
ReplyDeleteHehe! Thanks everyone! I'm not sure what to call her on the blog afterwards... maybe I'll just finally call her by name ;)
ReplyDeleteHey, Ted - congratulations to you and the GF, The F and the W-to-be...!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yang-May!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Ted and ...! (You'd better tell us soon how to call her or you'll be getting all these weird monikers).
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a greaaaaat wedding. Any unique plan like what we read in the news? Like going to get the bride in a horse or bullock cart or giving her the ring while skydiving and that sorta thing?
Oh noes! The pressure! I think I'll just call her "L"! :D
ReplyDeleteI don't go for flashbang plans like that, and in any case, we're on an extremely limited budget... It's only going to be a simple ceremony so no crazy stunts from me (or her)! teehee!
Ted - tahniah! Just came from a wedding ceremony, a big but thankfully brief affair, and my thought is that wedding ceremonies are just as much for those who attend, as they are for the bride and groom. Am sure yours will be a joyous one - and after all, the hardest work comes after the ceremony and spotlights, and honeymoon! All the best, and God bless!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Eliza! Am both dreading and looking forward to the ceremony, spotlights, honeymoon and hard work!
