- Dark City by Xeus (overall good read, a little disturbing at times)
- Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
- The Darkness of Wallis Simpson by Rose Tremain (shortlisted for this year's Frank O'Connor international short story award)
- His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik (have read lots of nice reviews about it)
- The Grand Complication by Allen Kurzweil (first five pages were intriguing)

ReplyDeleteThat's great! How are you finding it? I'm on chapter four now (i think), and I'm finding it an extremely easy read... I'm not sure if I truly like it yet but I find its melancholy quite... uh, pulling. Well, so far anyway.
ReplyDeleteAm on chapter four too (last night)! Started the book on Tuesday, but distracted by other readings. Not sure if I like it yet either... will share my thoughts when I find out!
